USB Test
We now offer 4 exciting slide of tests with the well-known software ATTO Benchmark with which we measured the performance of reading and writing in packages of different sizes, connecting the Kingston pen drive, the DT Ultimate 64GB both on the USB 3.0 ports both in the slower USB 2.0.
As you can see the screen on the right, i.e. the one generated by connecting the pen drive USB3.0 port on the motherboard, is better. The Ultimate DT 64GB being a pen drive that supports the new high-speed standard USB3.0, releases all of its speed. Let’s see how it behaves the same device when connected to a motherboard ASRock P67 Fatal1ty Professional, equipped with Etron USB 3.0 controller (USB 2.0 managed by the P67 chipset).
As you can see the MSI 990FXA-GD65 with AMD 990FX chipset has came out the winner. Let us see how it behaves the same pen drive using the benchmark CrystalDiskMark if connected respectively both to the USB2.0 port and on the faster USB3.0.
As you can see the gap in the sequential reading test is almost triple.
